This is a short 13 episodes TVB drama but every episode would kept me at the edge of my seat. One of the BEST in 2012. Is a MUST-WATCH!!!
CK’s Enzolianaticos Rating: 5/5!!!!!
The TEAM decided to challenge Yoga this time. Manage to get a free morning lesson from True Yoga. I would say Yoga was refreshing but not something I would do daily. Dont get me wrong…it is not easy! I had muscle aches all over after that. Just that I prefer games with faster pace.
The TEAM headed to Punggol Promenade after the Yoga session. Lunch was at Popeye. We then had a “Make Your Own Ice-Cream” session. I believe the TEAM adopted this experiment from a TV show whereby we used Ice, Milk, Salt, Ziploc bags…etc to make vanilla ice-cream. You know what! It actually worked! Cool Stuff!
The main event of the day was Futsal! The TEAM had a great Futsal session this time last year and was raring to shoot some goals again this year! It turned out to be a great 2 hours workout for us! LOVE IT! We wrapped up the day with a dinner at Uncle Leong.
After lunch, as the kids were getting restless, we got back to the hotel to rest. Dinner was packed from a Taiwanese Restaurant.
Tonight is the last night here…it was a great week away from work! Really appreciate the quality time spent with the Family. It does not matter the challenges from Enzo and Endre! Just love their company!
It started raining since morning. Woke up at 6am to prepare for a trip to take the Puffing Billy train at Belgrave. An old friend joined us! It was great to see YL again after a year and more glad to know that she is doing fine! Despite the rain, Enzoboy enjoyed taking the train ride.
YL brought the Family to Jalan Alor Restaurant for a Malaysian lunch. Maybe I start missing the food back home…I find that the Nasi Lemak that I ordered is extra delicious! We love it so much that we went back to pack for dinner too.
Today is the last day at the Great Ocean Road before heading to the Melbourne City. Breakfast was at Rebecca’s Cafe near our apartment. I must say it is the best since we reached Melbourne. The Raspberry Coconut Cake is a MUST-TRY!
The reception at the apartment told us that there were a few whales stopping by the east side of the beach the last couple of weeks. So, we tried our luck again to do some whale watching after breakfast. We were lucky this time round! Manage to catch a whale in action!!!
Just a night in this house is just too little! The family agreed that we would stay a couple more nights next time. As we were about to leave the house for our next destination, a rainbow appeared outside our balcony. What a great way to start our day!
After checking out, we headed to Otway Lighthouse at the tip of the Great Ocean Road near Apollo Bay. It was an awesome drive through the rainforest before we hit the Lighthouse. Along the drive, we saw lots of wild life like Koala Bears, Cows, horses etc.
The Otway Lighthouse sat on the tip of the island and overlooking the great ocean. We managed to climb up to the top of the lighthouse to get a nice panoramic view of the ocean around it. One thing to note. The wind was very strong at the top of the lighthouse and the fence was low. So, not too safe for kids to be up there.
After visiting the lighthouse, we went on to visit the 12 Apostles. We then stopped by at Logan Beach hopeful to watch some whales. Found nothing there. So, we packed dinner from Red Rooster and headed for our apartment at Port Fairy. It was a decent apartment with a personal garage.
Our initial plan was to wake up early and take a stroll at the coastal line. We did wake up early. Did not realize that it take us 2 hours to cook for Endre and pack up for our trip to Apollo Bay. So, we skipped the stroll and went for a brunch at the Mad Cowes instead. The Cuppacino is a MUST-TRY. The rest of the breakfast is good as well.
After brunch was a visit to the Koala Bears. It was a fun short walk at the boardway spotting the Koala Bears. Enzo love it. But, I felt that the price is on the high side for a short walk with just a few Koalas on sight.
We headed to Apollo Bay next. It turned out to be a 5 hour drive. It was tough to stay awake during the drive! The long drive was all worthwhile when we reached our apartment at Apollo View. It was a 2-storey house with a breathtaking view of the coast! It came with a large living room integrated with a kitchen and a fireplace! We had fun starting fire at the fireplace. The rooms were down stair and very cosy. This place is a MUST-STAY at Apollo Bay! The Family LOVE it! One night is just too short!
